THE American inaugurated the new phase of the project American Live . From now on, shopkeepers who sell products on the markeplace will be able to do lives every Wednesday at 7pm, with the necessary structure for the transmission.
Americanas ao Vivo is a real-time product demonstration project, launched in June. There were more than 50 hours of broadcasting with artists and influencers presenting live products to customers, with the possibility of in-app purchases.
According to the company, in addition to exclusive payment terms for the items shown, there was a growth of more than 10 times in the search for products advertised during the lives and a sales conversion seven times higher.
Since November, in addition to having influencers and artists at the helm of the lives, partner retailers perform live demonstrations of their products on the app. A production team helps to develop the broadcast script and gives time management tips for the shopkeeper to “sell his fish” during the live, with an average duration of one hour.
Americanas live commerce
The initiative is in line with the support and training actions for B2W Marketplace partner stores, a platform that allows for sale on Americanas’ website and app. “We are pioneers in live commerce in Brazil, which is already a trend in the international e-commerce . “With the potential that we see in the project, we understand that it was another channel that we could offer our partner retailers to grow and develop even further on our platform”, adds the executive.
